Pantone is showing off a line of clothing and accessories based around its colour systems at a trade show in Paris.

The Pantone brand and its iconic chip have inspired designers and manufacturers in a variety of industries, and their creations will be presented at the Pantone Unverse booth at the Maison & Objet show. The Collection spans a broad range of  items, including housewares like mugs and tea cups, fashion accessories such as cufflinks and tote bags, stationery and office supplies including notebooks and pencils, home design accessories like stools and chairs, lifestyle-related essentials such as a bicycle, apparel including scarves, socks and ties, and electronic accessories such as iPhone and iPod cases.

Product colours in the Pantone Universe Collection are updated seasonally based on fashion trends. Each item is accompanied by what Pantone calls "emotional color cues," indicating feelings triggered by featured colours.

One of the most recent additions to the range is the Pantone Hotel, a boutique hotel in the center of Brussels that Pantone says "combines a chic, colorful design aesthetic with comfortable, well-appointed guest rooms."
