Following on from its recent announcement of the C-3030 Zoom 3.3 megapixel camera, Olympus has introduced three further models.
The 2.1 megapixel C-2020 Zoom offers manual focusing, exposure and a black-&-white photo option. The £649.99 camera features a 3x optical zoom – supplemented by a digital 2.5x telephoto zoom – and a 4.5cm wide-angle colour LCD display. Like its sibling the £799.99 C-3030 Zoom, it can record QuickTime video with sound. Up to 15 frames per second are possible, with resolutions of 160-x-120 pixels in standard-quality mode and 320-x-240 in high-quality mode.
Priced at £499.99, the C-960 Zoom offers a 1.31 mega pixel CCD and a 3x optical zoom. A number of adjustable features are available, including a choice of four white balances and variable ISO settings, along with six flash modes, among which is a slow synchronization option that makes precision night-time photography possible. Two frames per second can be captured for up to ten shots with the C-960 Zoom’s continuous shooting mode.
The third model, the £299.99 C-860L, is a compact 1.3 megapixel camera with plenty of adjustable settings to offer extra control. Features include a 10cm macro mode for close-up shots, spot metering, four pre-set white balance options, and a wide selection of flash modes.
