GridIron Software has updated its Nucleo Pro plug-in for Adobe After Effects to version 1.0.6.
The updated fixes occasional failing renders due to Error 11 or large Background Render Queue History files, memory control issues on non-english systems, issues with Commit-to-disk on Mac OS X, inaccurate render times displayed in the Background Render Queue, and a lack of progress display during Image Sequence renders.
Nucleo Pro 1.0.6 also includes new troubleshooting functionality - a new "Support Tool" feature that allows you to more easily troubleshoot any issues and provide valuable information to the GridIron support team.
Current owners of Nucleo Pro can download the update from their account on the GridIron Web site. The software currently costs $295 (£147), which includes an upgrade to the forthcoming Nucleo Pro 2.
Nucleo Pro 2 adds support for After Effects CS3, and also includes a number of new features such as the ability to cache your pre-comps.
Users can drag-&-drop 3D project files from applications like 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, XSI, Lightwave, Maya and others into the Nucleo Pro Background Render Queue.
