Luxology has released modo 202 (www.modo3d.com), a new version of their 3D modeling, painting and rendering software for Mac OS X and Windows. A free update for registered users of modo 201, modo 202 costs US$895. A 30-day trial version is ready for download.

Modo features a polygonal and subdivision surface 3D modeller, painting tools modeled after natural 3D painting and integrated rendering tools.
