Luxology has released modo 202 (www.modo3d.com), a new version of their 3D modeling, painting and rendering software for Mac OS X and Windows. A free update for registered users of modo 201, modo 202 costs US$895. A 30-day trial version is ready for download.
Modo features a polygonal and subdivision surface 3D modeller, painting tools modeled after natural 3D painting and integrated rendering tools.
And workflow improvements have also been made, such as the ability to see scene lights in Advanced OpenGL, adjust the F-Stop, focal length and focal distance of cameras, support for Autodesk FBX and X3D formats and more.
