Yet another retail circular surfaced on Tuesday reflecting multiple price reductions for Xbox 360 hardware in North America. Microsoft remains quite on the subject despite widely consistent reports from retailers that a drop will happen early this August.

The newest ad, courtesy of Joystiq, has Target advertising a US$50 price cut for Xbox 360 Premium, a $20 price cut for Xbox 360 Core, and a $30 price cut for Xbox 360 Premium. On Monday it was rumored that Microsoft may soon discontinue the Core model.

"We have no announcements to make on pricing at this time," said a Microsoft spokesman Tuesday morning. "While price matters, content is king. No other system is offering all the games people want to play this holiday at a better price than Xbox 360," he added while deferring direct comment on said price cuts.
