Not long after dumping its product line, re-inventing itself as a ecommerce visualization company and changing its brand from Metacreations, Metastream is going through another name-changing exercise. The company is now called Viewpoint, with its MS3 technology renamed to Viewpoint Experience Technology – which is viewed through the Viewpoint Media Player. Neither the focus of the company nor the technology itself have been stated as changing.
