Digigami has released a version of its MegaPEG Batch MPEG encoding tool for the Mac platform. The application can convert multiple video clips and movies into the MPEG format for placing on VideoCDs, DVDs and streaming over the Internet.
The Mac version of the application works with the standard Mac editing apps: including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, QuickTime Pro and iMovie. It also supports the conversion of any QuickTime file into MPEG formats.
Encoding is set up using one of the tool’s eight preset templates – which include VideoCD, DVD, Presentation and Internet – or by creating your own. Settings can be applied to entire batches, with extra parameters applicable to individual files if you wish.
MegaPEG Batch for Mac costs $495 (around £330).
