Totally Hip has announced HipFlics, a Mac-only video-processing tool to prepare QuickTime video for the Web. It will ship later this month for $199.95. As well as compressing video and audio for the Web, HipFlics also allows users to crop and rotate video, apply filters or effects, and add watermarks. Multiple compression codec application, batch processing, preset and customizable settings, settings memory and original movie retention features are included. Users can also view a live before and after feature. A preview release demo is available from Totally Hip’s Web site. The company also announced a similar product for still images called HipPics with the same feature set. This costs only $29.95.
