LaCie has introduced the second generation of its 300 series LCD displays, designed for graphics professionals. The upgraded displays now feature 12-bit gamma correction, which provides smoother gradients, according to the company. Prices start at £671.49 plus VAT.

Corrected at the factory, 300 Series monitors ship with LaCie's blue eye pro 4.0 calibration software. Designed to work in tandem with LaCie's separately available blue eye pro colorimeter, the software performs hardware-based calibration of the display and produces an ICC profile.

It also ships with an anti-glare hood and includes a retractable hook for placement of a colorimeter during calibration.
The 300 series line also includes the 19-inch 319 for £671.49 plus VAT and the 21-inch 321, for 1,207.66 plus VAT.
