LaCie has announced two LCD displays for creative professionals. The 19-inch 119 LCD Monitor and the 20-inch 120 LCD Monitor will replace the popular photon19vision and photon20visionII models.

border=0 />The 119 LCD Monitor has a very high contrast ratio of 1000:1. It uses an MVA LCD panel with a native resolution of 1,280-x-1,024, and viewing angles of 170 degrees both vertically and horizontally. It

The monitor also has a brightness rating of 250cd/m2 and a response rate of 20ms. It has one DVI-D input and one VGA input. It costs £280 plus VAT.

border=0 />The 120 LCD Monitor has a higher resolution of 1,600-x-1,200. Its contrast ratio is 700:1, its response time is 16ms and it also has a brightness rating of 250cd/m2. It has a viewing angle of 170 degrees in both dimensions. </p> <p> Like the 119 display, the 120 offers single DVI-D and VGA connections, has a flexible stand that can be tilted, swiveled and height adjusted.
