Kodak has launched its i1200 and i1300 series scanners - which feature what Kodak claims are the industry’s smallest footprint and innovative 'tilt-&-scan' smart-touch software.
First announced back in May 2006 and showcased at the Cologne DMS-Expo show in September, the new desktop range starts at £551 and ships complete with a three year, next business day advanced unit replacement warranty, says the company.
The new range includes simplex (i1210, i1310) and duplex (i1220, i1320) models and all include enhanced PerfectPage image-processing technology, for the production of high-quality images in both colour and B&W, says Kodak. The workgroup i1200 Series captures images at speeds of up to 30 pages or 60 images per minute. Its sibling, the departmental i1300 Series, offers a maximum speed of 60 pages or 120 images per minute – the fastest speed in this segment.
The new range also offers:
* Robust aluminium paper-path with a reliable paper separation
* Ultrasonic double feed detection
* Two lamps per CCD-Camera for outstanding image quality
* Kodak’s acclaimed PerfectPage image processing including autorotation based on content and iThresholding.
The i1210 and i1220 are priced at £551 and £826 respectively. The i1310 and i1320 list at £1,100 and £1,651. The optional flatbed will be available from late November.
