As promised, Apple has rolled out the iTunes Store to Europe for Austria, Belgium, Finland, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain, complementing the exisiting stores in the UK, Germany and France.
Support for the new iTunes Store is included in iTunes 4.7, available now for download from the Apple Web site. Songs will be on sale for €0.99 per song. A Music Store Canada is due for launch in November. No firm plans have yet been announced to add Ireland to the growing list.
The new release of iTunes also includes the ability to copy and synchronize photos especially for the new iPod Photo, and the ability to show duplicate songs in music libraries.
