Confused as to where the Internet is heading, and the possible impact of video and audio on the Web? Cyersalon - a live webcast from the Institute of Contemporary Arts - aims to provide a roadmap with a seminar held on June 13, 2001 at 7:30 pm. The free Webcast, hosted by Groovy Gecko which is providing the infrastructure and technology, will feature cyber-writer Douglas Rushkoff; Chris Yapp, director of the Internet Society for England; and Andrew Dewdney, director of the Digital Arts Development Agency.
The panel will air their views on the state of audio and video on the Internet, and explore how broadband will effect industry and society. Tickets to the live event at the ICA cost £4 to £8. The streamed event is free.
