Extensis has released a free update to its Portfolio 8.1 asset management tool. This update adds support for 36 new camera Raw formats on both Mac and Windows versions of Portfolio stand-alone and client/server versions.

Registered owners of Portfolio 8.1 are eligible to receive the free upgrades immediately through the Extensis Web site

The Portfolio Raw Filter 3.2 update adds support for cameras including Canon's EOS 30D, EOS 400D (called the Digital Rebel XTi in the US) and Powershot S60; Pentax's *ist DL2, K10D, K100D and K110D; the Sony Alpha a100; Leaf's Valeo 6; Nikon D2xs, D40 and D80; Fujifilm's FinePix S7000 and F810; Olympus's Evolt E330, Evolt E400 and SP-320; Epson's R-D1s; Samsung's GX-1L, GX-1S and GX-10; Panasonic's L1, LX1, LX2, FZ30 and FZ50; Leica's M8, V-Lux1, Delux 3, D-LUX2/3 and DMR; and the Mamiya ZD -- bringing the total number of supported professional digital cameras to more than 100.
