Macromedia has added a Flash area onto its Exchange online community site. The addition allows users to share Flash 5 extensions such as Smart Clips, ActionScript samples, Generator templates and source files.
The company has posted a whole bunch of content of the site as well. Currently these include button libraries, HTML-style user interface widgets, ActionScript sample for creating programmatic animations, and a open-source Java-based server that takes advantage of Flash’s XML sockets for exchange of structured data.
The site also allows users to download an extension manager to organize extensions from within Flash.
