Adobe has added the Flowchart schematic map to version 2.0 of its Encore DVD authoring application. The Flowchart provides an instant plan of the layout of DVD, showing navigation and all of the connected elements.

Users drag-&-drop images into the Slideshow panel to create shows, with simple controls for adding background music or narration, and setting transitions and pan/zoom effects. </p> <p> The upgrade offers templates for creating automated chapter menus, support for DTS audio (including the 6.1-channel DTS ES format), the ability to add chapter points at set intervals, and closed caption support (though for NTSC titles only).
