Badia Software has released Badia Duplica XT 2.0 – an XTension for QuarkXPress and QuarkXPress Passport 5.0.
Duplica lets Quark users sample attributes of characters, paragraphs, pictures, boxes, lines and pages, and apply them to other elements in the layout, or in other documents – all without altering the contents of the Clipboard, the company says. There are more than 80 attributes to sample, says Badia. The XTension sports a cloning engine that duplicates and transforms QuarkXPress items similarly to how it’s done in illustration software.
New features in Duplica XT 2.0 include new ways to copy and apply attributes, and support for QuarkXPress 5.0.
Duplica XT 2.0 costs $50 (around £35), with upgrades available for $30 (around £20). Volume discounts and bundles with other Badia software are also available. System requirements call for Mac OS 8.5 or later and QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport 5.0.
