Deymo has released a Web content management system called Awake that aim to reduce the amount of non-technical work that Web designers and webmasters have to perform. Awake allows tasks such as editing text, images and links to be performed by non-technical staff. For example, it allows text on a Web site to be directly inputted by marketing copywriters without the need for Web-skilled staff to be involved. All updating is performed online – so changes are instantaneous. Awake can work with an unlimited number of pages and users. As well as conventional text, the application can also work with text within Flash animations.
