dvGarage has released version 1.5 of its Conduit plug-in for Motion and Final Cut Pro, which is the first version to be available for Apple' NLE. The plug-in provides a node-based compositing window, allow effects to be built using a flowchart structure similar to that used by high-end compositing software such as Shake or Eyeon Fusion.
The updated version uses Apple’s FXPlug technology to combine high-end nodal compositing with graphics card-based acceleration, providing Final Cut Pro and Motion users with a powerful variety of visual effects compositing tools that render in real time. In addition, Conduit version 1.5 is bundled with a free three-month membership to the Pixel Corps creative community, an hour of video training and a quick start guide.
Conduit costs $149 (around £75).
