Boxx has unveiled the 3DBoxx RTX line of workstations, which include Intel's new quad-core Xeon processors.

border=0 />
The workstations offer one or two Intel Xeon 5300 series processors, which include four cores for boosting the performance of multi-threaded applications, including most major professional creative applications. The chips offer up to 8MB of Level 2 cache and a 1,066MHz front size bus.

The 3DBoxx RTX has an expansive chassis that supports up to 10 swappable Serial ATA hard drives, plus two internal 3.5-inch hard drive bays and two 5.25-inch external bays. This provides up to 1GBps of storage bandwidth, according to Boxx.

Internally, the 3DBoxx RTX offers two PCI Express X16, two PCI-X 64/133MHz, and one PCI Express x8 (using x4) slots. The chassis offers two USB 2.0, two FireWire and two Gigabit ethernet ports.
