The British Interactive Media Association has began asking for nominations for its 17th annual awards. 23 awards are up for grabs this year, two more than last year.
The new awards are for ‘outstanding individual contribution to industry’ and ‘outstanding corporate achievement’. These join the previous awards, which are split by market sector (such as retail, entertainment and sport) and form (such as best use of design/creativity and best use of community).
The awards are open to developers, producers, publishers, distributors and clients. The deadline for entries is April 4. The awards will be announced at an informal ceremony at the Arches in Shoreditch, although the date for this has yet to be released. Tickets for this cost £50 for members and £60 for non-members.
An online entry form can be found on the BIMA Web site.
