Media 100 has launched what it bills as the industry's first fully automated stream publishing system for capturing, encoding, and managing high-quality digital audio content. Offered as a turnkey solution, audio:box lets encoders convert audio data from CD and DVD to any streaming media format, including MP3, Windows Media, RealAudio, QuickTime, and .WAV, says the company. Media 100 says audio:box will use its Cleaner 5 software to handle the encoding. Pricing is available on request, with audio:box shipping now.
