Apple has unveiled a new iPod with video playback capability. The new models come in 30GB and 60GB configurations. Video is displayed on the gadget’s 2.5-inch, 320-x-240 pixel colour TFT display, and the unit offers realtime decoding of MPEG-4 and H.264 video.
The video iPod can hold up to 150 hours of video, and costs £219 for the 30GB model, and £299 for the 60GB model. You can choose between white or black finish. According to the Apple UK online store, the new iPods will be ready to ship in a week.
Ad-free downloads of Desperate Housewives, Lost, Nightstalker, That's So Raven, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody will be available on iTunes for $1.99 each.
