Apple made it known on Wednesday that they have plans for the upcoming National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show being held in Las Vegas next month. In an invitation sent to select media Apple said they would be having a special event on Sunday, April 18, 2004.
"Moving pictures. Moving sound. Moving the industry," says the invitation Apple sent today. "Please join Apple for a special presentation at NAB 2004 to see the latest Apple technology."
Apple declined to offer any further details than those provided in the invitation. However, last year, Apple used NAB to unveil Final Cut Pro 4, Shake 3 and introduce DVD Studio Pro 2. It's expected that most of the major NLE developers will add support for the HDV high-definition DV format at the show, as well as other low-cost HD options.
The NAB2004 show takes place from April 17-22 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carly Fiorina, chairman and chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard, will deliver the opening keynote address on April 19.
