Adobe has released an update to Photoshop CS4 that fixes a number of bugs. The update is for both the Mac and Windows versions of Photoshop, and for both the standard and Extended versions.

The company says that the Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update fixes a number of issues that could cause slow performance have been addressed; pen barrel rotation with Wacom tablets now works correctly; Photoshop now correctly recognizes 3D textures edited by a plug-in; the quality of the results of Auto-Blend Layers (Stack Images) has been improved; a problem that could result in a crash when pasting formatted text has been fixed; and a crash that could result from a corrupt font no longer occurs.

The Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update can be downloaded using Photoshop's built-in updater, or manually from Adobe's update download page.

The release follows updates to Device Central (2.1), Adobe Reader (8.1.2), and InDesign CS3 (5.0.2 update). All are available using the built-in updaters, or manually from the update download page.
