3Dconnexion has announced that its award-winning 3D mice are now supported by the latest version of DAZ Studio, the free 3D figure posing and animation software by DAZ 3D.
The company says that its 3D mice significantly simplify and accelerate the design process, allowing DAZ Studio users to spend more time on their digital creations. They offer precise control of 3D models, camera views and lights, and the ability to navigate through 3D scenes while in Orbit mode by gently lifting, pressing and twisting the 3D mouse controller cap to pan, zoom and rotate without stopping to select commands. Unlike mice confined to motion on one flat plane, 3Dconnexion’s 3D mice enable artists to move in all three dimensions simultaneously, using six degrees of freedom.
3Dconnexion's 3D mice are supported by more than 130 3D applications, including Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended and Acrobat 9, Autodesk 3ds Max and Maya, Blender, DAZ Studio, Google SketchUp, MAXON Cinema 4D and BodyPaint 3D, and Smith Micro Poser.
