Author: The successor to the Wacom Cintiq Companion, the slim and stylish Mobile Studio Pro also sees the debut of a new Wacom Pen.
Wacom’s new MobileStudio Pro tablet PC pairs a much slimmer and more stylish tablet with a new pen – the Wacom Pro Pen 2. It’s a rival to tablet computers aimed at creative pros that are really designed for drawing on with a pen – such as Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 or Lenovo’s P40 Yoga (or Apple’s larger iPad Pro, though that can’t run full apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Painter).
The MobileStudio Pro is available in two sizes – one with a 13.3-inch screen (shown here) and one with a 15.6-inch display (the Cintiq Companion 2 had one size: 13.3-inch). The 13.3-inch MobileStudio Pro is noticeably lighter and thinner than its predecessor – and better looking to boot.
I had a few minutes with the tablet in advance on its launch – but we’re expecting review units soon. Read on to discover more about the Wacom MobileStudio Pro.
