If you're looking for a new way to show off your portfolio beyond the usual Behance or Cargo Collective account, check out Iconify. Formally launching today after a beta period, portfolios on Iconify have the slick simplicity of a Cargo Collective site, but with a focus on showcasing your work on mobile phones and tablets.

The minimal UI has the feel of a mobile app – all simple icons and large block text. There's also a lot of support for gestural control – not only for people viewing your portfolio, but for building and maintaining your portfolio. You can see this in Iconify's video below (once you get past the ad bit).

Another mobile-focussed feature is the ability for user – or yourself – to quickly 'install' your site onto a mobile device (ie place a bookmark of it to your phone or tablet's home screen).

Portfolios can have a samey feel, but Iconify says it'll be adding more templates in the future. Other features include easy sharing of sites to social networks – as Iconify isn't trying to be its own network a la Behance, at least yet – the ability to use your own domain for its URL and analytics.

Iconify portfolios work slickly across tablets, desktops and, apparently, iPhones the size of Wacom Cintiq 24HDs, apparently.
