It’s that time of year again: from creative arts colleges and universities across the country, a new generation of graduates is emerging, bringing an infusion of fresh talent and ideas to the creative scene.
To get a feeling for what the class of 2009 has to offer, you can’t do better than a trip to the D&AD’s colossal New Blood show, the daddy of graduate showcases. We’ve trawled this year’s entries to bring you our pick of the illustrators, graphic designers, and creatives to watch.

This advertising campaign for Clear Channel aims to promote outdoor advertising on spaces such as adshells and billboards, by promoting the outdoors as the ‘third space’. The idea was to portray an ad within an ad, which inspires the viewer to take interest in the media.

FUN SEX SAFE SEX
The campaign was designed to highlight the use of text messages as a discreet way of contacting the NHS sexual advice centre. This service allows anyone, anytime, anywhere to ask anything about sex. The design of the piece was aimed at 16-25-yearolds, with an emphasis on raising awareness of safe sex.
