2 Real-time corner effects
Curve corners of a frame in InDesign by dragging the corner itself. All rectangular frames display a yellow square that puts the frame into corner editing mode. Grab this diamond-shaped corner handle to get the curved effect.

3 Smarter dashes
The best way to make smarter dashes in Illustrator is to select an object path, open the Stroke panel, then select one of the new Dashed line boxes. Use the parameters to manipulate dash length and spacing, or align the dashes to an object’s corners and path ends.

4 Content grabber
Cropping simplified in InDesign: place your cursor over the image with the Selection tool, and drag the Content Grabber icon to move the image without affecting framing.
