Ecuadorian creative agency Mir has come up with an amusing, inventive series of illustrations based around Pantone swatchbooks.
Using the books as the starting off point for a version of The Shape Game, the agency's team has drawn artworks around the swatchbooks. Some use the books fanned out to create a peacock's feathers, skirt, a sunset, a mohican haircut or, er, a fan (shown here).
Others use them as blocks to form a bus, tower block or the Ecuadorian flag.
It's a simple idea that's really well-executed – fun and seemingly dashed-off in a spurt of creative inspiration.
