To promote the MTV Video Music Awards 2004, MTV and Converse’s idea for a promo with a strong graphical look that highlights this year’s venue of Miami, was brought to life by Triangle Television.

When IDP director Timmy Q (aka Tim Qualtrough) was commissioned to create a video promo for MTV’s Video Music Awards held in August in Miami, he turned to Triangle Television to help bring his ideas to life. The brief from clients MTV/Converse was for a graphical promotional video that highlighted this year’s Video Music Awards new home of Miami.

Qualtrough’s promo shows a graphical vision of Miami through which a main 3D character – a dancing Flamingo – travels to reach the venue of the VMA where he is greeted by adoring fans and the press.
