If you think that the Swiss contribution to culture ended with cheese, cuckoo clocks and hordes of dodgy gold, think again.

For designers at least, Max Miedinger's Helvetica typeface design for Haas’sche Schriftgießerei is the country's most significant contribution to international culture and now it is being celebrated in a documentary, Helvetica.

Directed by Gary Hustwit, it includes interviews with Neville Brody, Stefan Sagmeister and Michael Bierut.

Surprisingly, this is not the first film on the subject of typography.
