Peperami took over The Sun’s home page and went big on virals when they launched their spicy new product – Peperami Noodles.

"He’s a mental little character and he loves things that cause him personal pain,” says Richard Hedges, account director at interactive media agency AKQA. “He goes through a chopper, gets chopped up… all the bits of him fly off the banner into the skyscraper and down into the bowl of noodles at the bottom.”

Hedges ups the word count as he gets more excited: “It also integrates with some of the above-the-line work, like the TV ad where he actually jumps into a blender, laughing as he gets minced.”

We’re not talking about some puppy-in-a-blender scenario here, we are discussing the Peperami Animal: in real life a pork stick; in ad-land, an impactful and entertaining rich new-media experience.
