When Adobe launched After Effects 7.0 a few weeks ago, one of its main new features was a new retiming engine for apply fast- and slow-motion effects. Now plug-in developer The Foundry has let on that this is based on its Kronos plug-in, which is part of the company's Furnace suite, originally developed for high-end effects systems such as Discreet Flame and Avid|DS.
