Digital Asset Management (DAM) application with an attractive price and an impressive feature set, iView MediaPro has always been popular with photographers. However, its ability to handle other document types makes it suitable for small design or publishing studios, too.
iView Multimedia will release an upgraded version of its iView Media Pro personal asset management application in November. Version 3.0 focusses on workflow tools to speed up the processing of images, and adds more tools for professional photographers.
iView has announced a new version of MediaPro, its professional media management software, now compatible with Windows as well as the Mac OS. iView claims that MediaPro helps streamline workflows in film, video and photography by managing and organising very large volumes and types of digital files.
For many digital creatives, asset management software stopped being useful when Photoshop 7 introduced the File Browser. However, there’s much more to this application than mere thumbnail browsing.
