The finalists were shortlisted by the three and a half million-strong iStock community, and a panel of guest judges selected the winners, who hail from seven different countries. The Photo of the Year, Late Trash, is a creation by Trent Bell (TrentBell) of Biddeford, Maine.

iStockphoto has announced today it now offers Subscription plans and Corporate Accounts in addition to its micropayment Pay-as-you-go credit system. Subscribers can access the same royalty-free content as Pay-as-you-go customers: photos, illustrations, video and Flash files. Beginning this September, audio tracks will be available to subscribers, offering customers a complete palette of multimedia tools.

iStockphoto has announced that it will add royalty-free audio tracks to its collection of downloadable stock content in September 2008. The company says that it will become the first to offer stock imagery, video footage, vector illustrations, Flash files and audio for purchase using one payment model.
