Enfocus's PitStop Extreme 08 is the latest addition to the PitStop product family. Whereas PitStop Professional 08 enables PDF editing inside the familiar environment of Adobe Acrobat, PitStop Extreme 08 is a standalone, high-efficiency alternative. Anyone familiar with applications such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign will feel instantly familiar with the editing environment offered by PitStop Extreme 08.
Enfocus PitStop is a publishing mainstay, and its PDF checking is central to publishing workflows throughout the industry. Version 7 can analyze file attributes, as well as pure content.
Instant PDF 3.0 is intended to ensure that PDF documents will output correctly in a professional production cycle. For print, its core function is to run pre-flight checks for items that cannot be printed (such as RGB colours, too-low resolutions, JavaScripts, and multimedia clips).
Enfocus has announced that PDF Workflow Suite and Instant PDF 3.0 are to begin shipping in mid-October, and has improved the CertifiedPDF.net resource for PDF quality specifications.

PitStop Professional is a surprisingly versatile utility that helps the accurate professional printing of PDF documents.
