Daz 3D has released the DAZ Studio 3D Bridge plug-in for Photoshop. The 3D Bridge plug-in for Photoshop allows DAZ Studio users to automatically apply 3D imagery and artwork to any Photoshop project. The plug-in is compatible with Photoshop 7.0, Photoshop CS, Photoshop CS2, Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS3 Extended. It allows users to view 3D scenes as Photoshop layers; change objects and figures simultaneously; render directly into Photoshop; import, export and modify image maps and textures onto 3D models in Photoshop; composite 2D and 3D content seamlessly; and access DAZ 3D’s full library of 3D models and accessories. The DAZ Studio 3D Bridge plug-in for Photoshop costs US$199 (around £101). The 3D Bridge plug-in for Photoshop is compatible with both Macintosh and Windows operating systems and requires DAZ Studio (version 2.1 or later). DAZ Studio is available free of charge and is compatible with Windows 98 SE or higher and Mac OS X 10.3 or higher.

Daz Studio 2.1 adds improved 3D preview tools
Daz 3D has released version 2.1 of its Daz Studio 3D software. DAZ Studio 2.1 enables users to quickly create high-quality digital images and characters for use in games and virtual worlds, multimedia and illustration applications. DAZ Studio 2.1 boasts many features, including a full-colour OpenGL Preview, integration with the powerful 3Delight Render Engine (which is compliant with Pixar’s RenderMan) and Fast-Time rendering via the user’s graphic card hardware.

3D Bridge connects Photoshop to Daz|Studio
DAZ Productions has introduced a beta version of its 3D Bridge plug-in for Photoshop. the software enables Photoshop users to import characters and objects created in DAZ|Studio. Separate plug-ins are available for Mac and Windows.
