Concrete has been working with designer Andy Carroll to create original animation and graphic design for ITV1's comedy series Harry Hill's TV Burp to some very tight deadlines. The show is recorded weekly at Teddington Studios on Thursday evenings and is transmitted less than 48 hours later.

Concrete recently completed full offline and online post work on a new Samsung viral titled Samsung Lions for The Viral Factory. The viral was directed and produced by The Viral Factory. They approached Concrete for initial pre-production advice to create the viral for Samsung.
Concrete has just recently completed a promo for The Open Golf which will be aired exclusively on BBC One and BBC Two. Concrete's Marcus Millichope was the Senior Online Smoke Operator who worked on the compositing, grading, setting, light effects, editing and vfx using Smoke. The promo was directed and produced by Toby Crawford at Red Bee Media. The promo depicts a golf ball's journey from tee-off through clouds and the golf course terrain finally ending up as a 'hole-in-one'. There were over twenty complex and intricate shots that were taken on the ground, including close ups and the shoot also involved numerous over head angles in order to convey an image of a golf ball that continues moving from various perspectives. The photography on this project was complicated with challenging frames, creating an end result which looks smooth, sleek and dynamic.
Concrete has recently completed the graphics for the brand new series Diet on the Dancefloor for Mentorn Media, which will be broadcast on the Living channel. Concrete's graphics design team created the compelling CGI logo, which was designed by creative director, Chris Jennings.
Concrete has created a compelling promo for a documentary portraying terrorism through the ages. Titled Age of Terror, it is a powerful and impactful promo that literally explodes onto the screen.

Concrete and Baraka are set to join forces, creating a single new post production company in Soho, London. Both companies specialized in short-form media -- including music videos, titles and commercials -- but the expanded company is looking to push into wider broadcast and feature film markets.. Baraka’s existing joint MD’s David Cox and Chris Gilbert will run the enlarged Concrete, which will boast a broad array of technology. The new facility will offer six high-end HD and SD compositing suites based around two Smokes, two Quantel EQs and two Mistikas. Concrete Design, the in-house graphics and design team will also double in size and will benefit from Baraka’s long experience using 3D animation for visual effects. Baraka’s creative editing company Chop is also moving to the new premises, providing editing services based around four Avid Adrenalines and shared storage. The video services are complemented by a new 5.1 surround-sound Protools audio mixing suite and voice-over booth. Baraka, formed just over 11 years ago by compositors David and Chris from the Mill and MPC, has built a reputation for visual effects and high end finishing. It has netted a number of awards along the way including British Television Advertising Awards.
