Fantastic freeware fonts? Fat chance

Dexigner reports that an analysis of more than 4,500 freeware TrueType fonts has found that 95.9 per cent failed to meet the technical standards required for proper use in CSS.

While undoubtedly true, it's worth bearing in mind that the study was performed by Ascender Corporation, who, lo and behold, flog fonts.
