Digg and Reddit are community news sites, Delicious is a social bookmarking site - all three allow you to share stories you find interesting with other people. To make the process easier, you can use the links provided to assist in submitting an article you think would be of interest to others to these sites.
To submit articles to Digg, you need to register for an account which you can do for free here.
Click the "Submit to Digg" link and the web address for the story will be automatically filled in for you. All you need to do is choose a suitable title, write a brief description and choose a category.
Once the article has been added it will be available to other users to 'Digg' if they like it - the more Diggs an item gets, the more prominently it appears on the Digg homepage.
To add an article to Delicious, you need to register for a free account here first.
Click the "Submit to Delicious" link and the web address, description and notes fields will be filled out for you, but you can change the description and notes to something more relevant if you wish.
The next step is to add tags that relate to the story - you can add any tags you want. The aim of tagging is to enable other users to find relevant sites. So, if the story was about Windows Vista, you might tag it with "Microsoft Vista OS". When other users browse for items tagged with Vista, then the article you submitted will show up.
